UK PM Boris Johnson and fiancee Carrie Symonds announce birth of healthy baby boy
Prime Minister of United Kingdom Boris Johnson and his fiancee Carrie Symonds have been blessed with a baby boy, the UK Media was quoted by the news agency ANI. UK PM Boris Johnson has recently recovered from the novel coronavirus. A spokeswoman for the prime minister and his partner stated that both mother and baby were “doing very well” after the birth in a London hospital on Wednesday morning.
According to the British media reports, Boris Johnson went to his normal schedule following his treatment at a London hospital on Monday. The UK has so far registered 161,145 number of coronavirus cases out of which 21,678 patients have died due to the pandemic.
UK Environment Secretary George Eustice at Sunday’s coronavirus press conference had said that there are encouraging signs of progress. The rate of coronavirus infection is decreasing and there is no risk of a second peak, he said.

“For now, the most important thing is to stay at home, to protect the National Health Service (NHS), and save lives,” he added. Earlier on April 12, Boris Johnson had said that he had left the hospital after a week in which the NHS has saved his life.

So far, 3,149,259 coronavirus cases have been reported from across the world while 218,386 COVID-19 patients have died. A total of 962,809 cases have been recovered so far.
