Sonbhadra (Uttar Pradesh), March 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a public rally on Wednesday said that the government would not spare any effort in bringing home Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine. While speaking at an election rally in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district, the Prime Minister stated that India could evacuate its citizens stranded in war-hit Ukraine because of its rising power. "It is due to India's rising strength that we are able to safely evacuate our nationals stuck in Ukraine, for which we are running Operation Ganga," he continued. PM Modi shows confidence in 'Operation Ganga' "We're making all efforts to evacuate people stuck in Ukraine under Operation Ganga. Thousands of citizens were brought back to India. To accelerate this mission, India has sent its four ministers there, and the government will leave no stone unturned for the safe evacuation of Indians," said PM Modi. PM Modi shows confidence in 'Operation Ganga' "People who mock 'Atmanirbhar Abhiyan' insult our (defence) forces. Such dynasts can never strengthen India. They are the same people who spread rumours about the country's Covid vaccines," the Prime Minister added. On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh will go to the sixth phase of the polling in the ongoing state Assembly elections. Phase six will determine the fate of 676 candidates, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in 57 Assembly seats spanning across 10 districts of the state. PM Modi shows confidence in 'Operation Ganga' These 10 districts are Gorakhpur, Ambedkarnagar, Ballia, Balrampur, Basti, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar and Siddharthnagar. Sonbhadra district will go to the polls in the seventh and last phase of assembly elections on March 7.
