Ireland played extremely well and deserves all praise for retaining and defence after taking an early lead in the 12th minute from its first of two penalty corners. The combine of Duke Deidre and O Flanagan had the ball deflected into the roof of the net. The goal was perfect for the team as they played according to the strategy and also defended their citadel well. Ireland is celebrating its success.
