Where govt fixed nails, there we will sow flowers: Rakesh Tikait
Rakesh Tikait Video: Amid heavy security arrangements at Delhi borders, the Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, on Friday, was seen as a common farmer with a shovel in his hand.
In a video making rounds on the Internet, Rakesh Tikait covered nails, placed by the police administration, with soil and planted flowers at that place.

As per the reports, the farmers brought two trucks of soil and started planting flowers at the place where the government had fixed nails.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait stated that they will sow flowers where the government fixed nails.

He said, “We will grow flowers in response to where the government planted spikes at the Ghazipur border site to stop the farmers.”
Tikait has been in the limelight ever since his video went viral in which he was crying when police had issued an ultimatum to remove the agitators from Delhi borders.

Ahead of Chakka Jam in India on February 6, Tikait stated that there will be no road blockade in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand while the roads will be blocked in the rest parts of the country excluding Delhi.
Keeping in mind the violence that took place on January 26, the Delhi Police made adequate security arrangements at borders ahead of chakka jam so that miscreants cannot enter the national capital.
