Women's Asia Cup 2022: India is set to face Sri Lanka in its opening game for the Women’s Asia Cup 2022 which will take place in Sylhet, Bangladesh next month. The Asian Cricket Council has already announced the schedule for the Women’s Asia Cup 2022, with seven teams participating in the tournament. The tournament hosted by Bangladesh will feature India, Sri Lanka, UAE, Pakistan, Thailand and Malaysia. The tournament which was originally slated to take place in Bangladesh in 2020 will feature India, Sri Lanka, UAE, Pakistan, Thailand and Malaysia. The 2020 edition was ultimately cancelled after being moved to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
