PTC News Desk: An anti-Hindu parade was taken out in Canada by Khalistan supporters demanding deportation of 8,00,000 Hindus to India. The parade also included a large truck with a mock-up of a jail that had effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

The parade was held in Canada's Toronto. A video of the parade is doing rounds on social media which comes days after reports of Gurdwara vandalism in Canada came to light. The video was posted by a Hindu community leader in Canada, calling out the "blatant anti-Hindu hatred" from a Khalistani supporters group.

Calling it a "shameful day", the Coalition of Hindus of North America said, "The world has seen this template before and needs to be alarmed. Will city, provincial and national institutions take note? Will human rights groups or the media cover it?"

Canadian journalist Daniel Bordman shared the video of the anti-Hindu parade and questioned that wether Canada under the leadership of Mark Carney would be any different than that under Justin Trudeau.

The parade comes days after Liberal registered a sweeping victory in federal elections scripting a turnaround after it seemed to be down-and-out amid an economic crisis.
