The incident unfolded at 6:30 pm local time on Thursday in Minnesota, where a Honda SUV veered off the road, collided with a light pole, and erupted into flames.
According to reports from Fox News, Kadir Tolla, one of the Good Samaritans involved in the rescue effort, described the ordeal as the "scariest moment of his life." Tolla recounted how he encountered the blazing car while en-route to meet clients and immediately sprang into action upon seeing the desperate situation.

"The driver was awake. He was saying pull me out, pull me out, pull me out," Tolla recounted to Fox News, highlighting the urgency of the situation. Despite the intense heat and flames, bystanders rallied together in a frantic bid to free the trapped driver. However, their efforts were thwarted by the obstruction of the door due to the guardrail. Undeterred by the perilous conditions, Tolla and others persisted in their rescue attempt, even as the flames licked dangerously close.
Eventually, Tolla improvised with a piece of discarded plastic in a bid to break the car's window, but to no avail. It was only when a highway worker intervened, shattering the glass, that the group was able to extract the driver to safety, narrowly averting tragedy as flames engulfed the car moments later.
Recalling the adrenaline-fueled moments of the rescue, Tolla expressed profound gratitude for being able to offer assistance in a time of dire need. Despite the inherent danger and fear, Tolla emphasised that the experience had left an indelible mark, a testament to the power of collective action and human kindness.
While the driver escaped without serious injuries, paramedics transported him to Regions Hospital for a medical evaluation as a precautionary measure, as confirmed by the police. As the flames were extinguished and the immediate danger subsided, the heroic efforts of these Good Samaritans serve as a poignant reminder of the extraordinary courage and selflessness that can emerge in moments of crisis.
