Gujarat student killed in Canada: A 22-year-old student from Gujarat was killed in a knife attack in Canada’s Niagara region, the police said. The incident took place on May 15 and a murder investigation is currently underway. The victim has been identified as Vidhi Kalpeshbhai Meghani, a resident of Borsad in Gujarat’s Anand district.
Vidhi had been living in Canada for the last four years. She was pursuing her studies while also working part-time to manage her expenses.
According to reports, she was attacked with a knife under circumstances that are still not clear. The police have not yet revealed the motive behind the killing or shared details about the suspect.
Canadian authorities have registered a murder case and launched a search operation to trace the accused. Investigators are collecting evidence and examining all possible angles related to the incident.
