Saad lost his life during Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon on Saturday afternoon. The strikes were a retaliatory response to repeated attacks on northern Israel.
Contrary to earlier reports categorising him as a civilian, Hezbollah asserts that Saad was killed "on the road to Jerusalem," employing a euphemism to commemorate its fighters.

IDF announces demolition of homes of Hamas operatives involved in West Bank attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have declared their intention to demolish the residences of three Hamas operatives responsible for a recent shooting attack at a West Bank checkpoint. The attack resulted in the death of a soldier and injuries to several others. Simultaneously, an Israeli strike in Gaza reportedly claimed the life of Abdul Fattah Amin Maali, a Hamas armed wing commander and a former close associate of Yahya Ayyash, a founding member of the al-Qassam Brigades.
