Jammu, December 23: Amidst the ongoing Rajouri encounter that resulted in the tragic loss of four soldiers, a separate infiltration attempt was successfully intercepted along the International Border (IB) in Khour, Akhnoor sector of Jammu district, as confirmed by the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army in a social media update.
According to the Army's statement, surveillance equipment detected the suspected movement of four terrorists during the night between December 22 and December 23.
"Infiltration bid foiled in IB sector of Khour, Akhnoor. Suspected move of four terrorists seen through own surveillance devices on the night of 22/23 December 2023. Effective fire brought down. Terrorists seen dragging one body back across the IB," mentioned the White Knight Corps of the Army in their communication.
