Salman promised her a bright future, then gang raped her in Chandigarh
Two more persons, including a juvenile, have been arrested by the police in the gang rape case. One of the two arrested has been identified as Sonu, alias Ganga Parsad, a resident of Faidan village, while the other one is a juvenile. The 14-year-old victim had come to the city from Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh, with her friend Salman, alias Lucky (22). Salman, a native of UP, brought the victim to Chandigarh, promising her a bright future. The duo started residing at Faidan village. After a few days, Salman allegedly called his friends and gang-raped the girl. On November 4, the victim had fled from the room where she was staying with her friend. The victim then reached a park in Sector 44, where a passerby saw her crying and informed the police. A case was registered at the Sector 34 police station. Salman was the first one to be arrested in the case. -PTC News
