1984 anti sikh riots : Sajjan kumar held guilty, sentenced to life imprisonment The Delhi High Court on Monday convicted congress leader Sajjan Kumar in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case related to  to killing of five Sikhs  Gurpreet Singh, Kehar Singh, Narender Pal Singh, Raghuvender Singh and Kuldeep Singh. The High Court sentenced sentenced Sajjan Kumar to life imprisonment and also imposed a fine of Rs 5 lakh. The Delhi High Court has asked Sajjan Kumar to surrender before December 31. Five members of a family in Raj Nagar area of Delhi were murdered on November 1, 1984 after the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The trial court in 2013  had acquitted Sajjan Kumar in the case.
