4 injured in Norway stabbing incident; suspect married to one of victims
Oslo (Norway), May 20: At least four people were injured in a random stabbing attack on Friday in Numedal, a river valley 84 km southeast of Norway's capital city of Oslo, local police said. According to reports, one of the victims is in critical condition. The police received the report around 8:58 a.m. local time (0658 GMT), after which the perpetrator was apprehended within 10-15 minutes, local fire police chief Kai Redalen informed Norwegian national television NRK. The police said they were a family from Syria. "It is a family from Syria and the perpetrator and victim are married," police added.
