4-year-old critical after raped in sleep; admitted to Delhi AIIMS
A four-year-old girl has been taken to Delhi AIIMS after she was raped by a 23-year-old man in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district.
She was flown to Delhi on Tuesday and admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in a critical condition, doctors confirmed.
"She was admitted to the hospital at 7 pm. Her condition is critical and she may undergo surgery soon," the source said. A team of doctors is being constituted by AIIMS administration to monitor her condition consistently.
"Gaud, the accused went to the girl's house on Sunday night. As he was known to the family, the girl's father went out for some work. In the meantime, Gaud took the girl with him to Panna village and raped her. He left her there in an injured condition and went home," a police officer had said.
