Indian Air Force convoy attacked by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch; 5 injured

PTC News Desk: Two vehicles of Indian Air Force convoy came under heavy firing from terrorists in the Surankote area of Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. According to reports, five soldiers sustained injuries during the attack.

One of the five injured is reportedly in critical condition. They have all been admitted to a hospital for treatment.

Reinforcement have been deployed to the area, and counter-terrorism operations are underway.

This is the first major attack on the armed forces in the region this year, following a string of terror attacks on the army last year. Following the attack, visuals revealed at least a dozen bullet holes in the windscreen of the vehicle that was targeted.
