The Moga district police in a joint operation with excise department, has seized as many as 860 boxes of illegal liquor here.

According to information , on a tip-off police and excise department laid a special naka and impounded 860 boxes of liquor and arrested four accused in the matter and also seized One canter , two cars and one tractor from their possession .

The police has registered a case under the various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the accused.
