9 school children injured as auto-rickshaw overturns after being hit by a truck
Nine school children were injured as an auto-rickshaw, in which they were travelling in overturned after being hit by a truck near Manawala in Amritsar on Wednesday.

The injured were rushed to the nearby civil hospital in Amritsar. The accident took place in the afternoon when the auto rickshaw which was carrying childrens to school. The students are in primary classes, police said.

The locals helped in rescuing the children and took them to hospital. Meanwhile, the truck driver fled away from the spot after the accident.
