Congress candidates for Khadoor Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib and Faridkot finalized: Sources

The Congress party today finalized the names of candidates for Khadoor Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib and Faridkot parliamentary constituency, say sources. It finalized the candidature of Jasbir Singh Dimpa for Khadoor Sahib, former MLA Mohd Sadiq for Faridkot, and former bureaucrat Dr Amar Singh for Fatehgarh Sahib Constituency.

With three more names, the Congress has completed nomination for nine constituencies out of a total of 13. The announcement is likely anytime.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh finalized the names at a meeting with All India Congress President, Rahul Gandhi. PPCc President Sunil Kumar Jakhar and General Secretary in-charge Asha Kumari were also present at the meeting.
