Gurpreet Singh Chattha Elected President Of Patiala Media Club

Creating a new history in journalism field in royal city Patiala Gurpreet Singh Chattha from Daily Ajit was elected President of the prestigious Patiala Media Club (regd) Patiala.

Concluding the Election process Returning Officer Ujagar Singh, Asstt. RO Kuljit Singh and Surjit Singh Dukhi announced that Rajesh Sharma Panjola of Punjab Kesari Group has been elected Secretary General, Manish Sirhindi of Times of India has been elected Senior Vice President, Jaspal Dhillon from Daily Ajit and Khushvir Toor from Sach Kahoon has been elected Vice President and Parmeet Singh from Punjab Kesari Group has been elected Secretary.

In a  highly pitched battle the royal city saw first contest between the journalist fraternity for the post of Treasurer and Joint Secretary. Navdeep Dhingra from Punjabi Jagran has been elected Treasurer whereas Yogesh Dhir Dainik Sawera and Sanjay Verma Dainik Jagran has been elected Joint Secretary. Mohan Lal has been elected Joint Secretary on reserved post for Photo journalists. Similarly Atish Gupta from Ajit Samachar has been elected Press Secretary of the Club.
