The counting of votes was stopped  after a ruckus at the multi-purpose hall Arjun Stadium  in Jind.

According to information, the agents of different candidates inside have alleged missing numbers of Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) at the table number 4 and 5.

After seven rounds of counting in Jind assembly election in Haryana, BJP is leading with 9300 votes.

BJP’s Dr. Krishan Middha has garnered 28.811 votes whereas JJP is trailing on second number with 19,481 votes. The Congress, which fielded senior leader Randeep Surjewala is at third, with 11,547 votes whereas Indian National Lok Dal has got only  2,236 votes.

The counting of votes polled in Jind by-election held on 28 January began on Thursday at the multi-purpose hall of Arjun Stadium  in Jind. Adequate security arrangements have been made at the counting centre and security arrangements have been ensured by installing 10 CCTV cameras.
