Loot at Sonali Phogat’s house; Cash, jewelry, weapons stolen

Unidentified thieves stole cash, jewelry, licensed revolvers, and cartridges from the residence of BJP leader -Actor Sonali Phogat’s house in Sant Nagar, Delhi.

Phogat filed a police complaint where she mentioned that she locked her house and left for Chandigarh on February 9. After returning on Monday, she noticed the lock of her residence was broken. On entering the house, she found Rs 10 lakh, gold and silver jewelry, watches, a licensed revolver, and eight cartridges were missing. On receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and started with the investigation.

Sonali Phogat further added that her residence was CCTV protected but the thieves took away the DVR from the house. However, she suspects more items missing, and will submit a list of missing items after checking all household items.

She is an actor and also recently participated in TV reality show Bigg Boss.

Sonali Phogat came into limelight after a controversy in June 2020. She hit Balsamand market secretary, Sultan Singh with a slipper. The video of this incident became viral. She had claimed that it was Singh who used explicit language against her.
