9-year-old girl dies suddenly at Rajasthan school; cardiac arrest suspected

PTC Web Desk: A nine-year-old student at a private school in Nagaur district in Rajasthan tragically died on Monday morning, with doctors suspecting cardiac arrest as the cause, the police confirmed on Thursday.
The incident took place in Gotan town, where Divya Bapedia, a Class 5 student from Talnapur, was playing with classmates in the school playground before morning prayers. Witnesses said she suddenly collapsed without any warning.
School staff immediately rushed Divya to the local Community Health Centre (CHC), where doctors pronounced her dead. According to Dr Sukhram, in charge of the Gotan CHC, the girl had no known prior medical conditions, and there were no visible injuries on her body. A preliminary investigation points toward cardiac arrest as the likely cause.
CCTV footage from the school playground, which has been circulating on social media, shows Divya playing just moments before the collapse.
The family declined a post-mortem, and the body was released to them.
