PTC News Desk: An Air India passenger flight accidentally entered Pakistani airspace on Monday night after reportedly deviating from its planned destination due to a technical issue.
The flight had taken off from Delhi and was scheduled to land in Amritsar. However, after straying into Pakistani airspace, it was reportedly alerted by Pakistan's air traffic control and directed to return.
Because the aircraft could not reach Amritsar on time and air traffic at the airport had increased, it was unable to land there and had to return to Delhi. Airport officials said the flight had gone off course due to a technical malfunction, and an investigation is underway.
