Faridabad teacher killing: Shed be alive if police had acted, says husband after woman stabbed to death by stalker
School teacher Sandhya Sharma was allegedly stabbed more than 27 times in the neck and chest, dying on the spot on Monday.
PTC News Desk: A teacher working at a private school in Faridabad was brutally stabbed to death on Monday. The investigation into the murder has now revealed that the 21-year-old accused Amit had been planning the murder for over two months and even brought the knife in advance specially for the crime, police said.
During interrogation, the accused told police he had been waiting for an opportunity to kill 28-year-old Sandhya Sharma.

According to police, the accused, Amit, was in love with Sharma, but she did not return his feelings. She had previously filed a molestation complaint against him, after which he apologised. Investigators said Amit became angry after Sharma changed both her school and residence.
Police said Amit reached the school in Sikrona village at around 9.30 am and called Sharma out of her classroom by using her husband's name. As she came outside, he allegedly pulled her by the hair and repeatedly stabbed her, killing her on the spot.
The accused, a resident of Kot village, was arrested within two hours of the attack. A local court on Tuesday sent him to three days of police custody. Police said the entire incident was captured on the school's CCTV cameras. They also alleged that Amit threatened a school staff member who tried to stop him.
Sharma's husband, Vicky Gurjar, said his wife had earlier worked at a school in Sirohi village, where she came into contact with Amit. He claimed that if police had taken stricter action after the earlier molestation complaint, the murder could have been prevented.
"If the police had acted strictly then, Sandhya might have been alive today," Gurjar said.
Gurjar, a resident of Firozpur village, and Sharma, who belonged to the Dabua area, had a love marriage. The couple is survived by their two children — a seven-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter.
Police said Amit is the youngest of three brothers. While his two brothers work at different hospitals, Amit is unemployed and earns his livelihood by rearing buffaloes and selling milk.
