PTC News Desk: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP leader Champai Soren's 19-year-old grandson Veer Sore was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Manali on Tuesday.
Veer had come to Manali with his friends on February 22 and stayed at a homestay in Simsa near Manali. Veer and his friends reportedly visited Solang Valley and Sethan villages on Monday and returned to the homestay in the evening.
According to the reports, on February 24, Veer's friends went out but he stayed back as he was complained of severe headache. His friends arranged medication for him through an online delivery service, after which he went to rest. Around 2:30 pm, they heard a thud from his room and found him lying on the floor beside his bed.
He was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital in Manali. During the transit, his condition worsened and frothing at the mouth was observed. Despite multiple attempts of administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for a considerable time, doctors could not revive him. He was declared brought dead.
Manali DSP KD Sharma said that the body has been kept in the mortuary and a post-mortem examination will be conducted after the arrival of family members. Initial examination did not reveal any external injuries.
