Make woman pregnant get rich: All India Pregnant job service scam busted, teen among two arrested
According to the police, the gang targeted unsuspecting men and claimed they would be paid ₹10 lakh for helping women conceive.
PTC News Desk: Police in Bihar have uncovered a scam in which men were tricked with fake promises of large payments for impregnating childless women. Two people, including a minor, have been arrested in Nawada district.
According to the police, the gang targeted unsuspecting men and claimed they would be paid ₹10 lakh for helping women conceive. As part of the scheme, the scammers collected a “registration fee” from the victims. The operation was being run under the name “All India Pregnant Job Service.” The fraud came to light after the police received an anonymous tip, Nawada SP Abhinav Dhiman said.
The accused have admitted to the crime, and police have seized four mobile phones from them. Investigators are now trying to determine how many people were cheated. A case has been registered under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita related to theft, cheating, and forgery, along with relevant sections of the IT Act.
Although the scam appears unusual, it is not new for Nawada. A similar racket was exposed in the district last January. At that time, three men — Prince Raj, Bhola Kumar, and Rahul Kumar — were arrested for running a nearly identical fraud called “All India Pregnant Job (Baby Birth Service).”
