Raghav Chadha had reportedly undergone an emergency vitrectomy eye surgery earlier this month in the United Kingdom
New Delhi, May 18: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha made his first public appearance in months on Saturday. He was spotted at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's official residence in the national capital.
Raghav Chadha had reportedly undergone an emergency vitrectomy eye surgery earlier this month in the United Kingdom. His absence had raised several questions,. However, the party assured that Raghav Chadha would resume his duties and join the Lok Sabha election campaigning once he recovered.
On May 2, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj had also issued a statement explaining Raghav Chadha's condition: “Raghav Chadha has undergone a major eye surgery in the UK. It was a serious situation, with a possibility of blindness. As soon as he gets better, he will return to India and join us in the election campaigning.”
