Raghav Chadha, three MPs to meet President Murmu on May 5 just before CM Manns appointment
Chadha and three other MPs have been granted appointment at 10:40 am on May 5, while CM Mann has been granted appointment at 12 noon
PTC News Desk: Just before Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to meet President Droupadi Murmu, Raghav Chadha along with three other MPs will be meeting the President on the same day.
“Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha had sought time from President Droupadi Murmu to apprise her of the alleged misuse of the Punjab government’s state machinery for political vendetta and targeted action against MPs who recently quit AAP and merged with the BJP,” said a close aide of Chadha.
Chadha and three other MPs have been granted appointment at 10:40 am on May 5, while CM Mann has been granted appointment at 12 noon
Punjab Chief Minister had sought time to meet the President to seek recall of six MPs who defected to the BJP citing that they were elected by Punjab MLAs, who have been chosen by the people.
The party is preparing to send 80 MLAs to Delhi, who will wait outside the Rashtrapati Bhawan while Mann meets the President.
