Rajasthan: 9 wedding guests killed after after truck collides with van in Jhalawar

After the accident, the driver of the truck fled the scene but was detained later and police is currently interrogating them as part of the ongoing investigation

Rajasthan: In a tragic and dreadful incident, as many as nine wedding guests were killed  who were returning from a wedding in Madhya Pradesh after a truck collided with a van in Jhalawar in Rajasthan on Sunday morning.

According to Superintendent of Police Richa Tomar, nine people tragically lost their lives in a road accident in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. 

The victims were returning home from a wedding procession when their vehicle collided with a truck. 


After the accident, the driver of the truck fled the scene but was detained later and police is currently interrogating them as part of the ongoing investigation. 

Sandeep Bishnoi, in-charge of Aklera police station, stated that all the deceased belonged to the Bagri community, and their family members have been informed about the tragic incident. The bodies have been placed at the community health center in Aklera.
