Woman gets dragged for several metres after saree gets stuck between train's doors, dies

PTC News Desk: A woman commuter who was injured after her saree became entangled between the train's doors died on Saturday while receiving treatment at a hospital in Delhi, officials said.
"An incident occurred at Inderlok Metro station on 14th December, where prima facie it appears that a lady passenger's clothes got entangled in a train leading to injuries and subsequent demise in hospital today," Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said.
According to DMRC officials, the Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety will conduct an inquiry into the incident.
According to the Delhi Metro, the deceased woman's saree got stuck between the train doors at Delhi's Indralok Metro Station. She was dragged for several metres before collapsing on the track, resulting in serious injuries.
