Punjab Congress Crisis: The newly appointed Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu's camp has rejected the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh's demand for a public apology from Sidhu over his 'derogatory' tweets, sources said on Tuesday.
As per the sources, Congress MLA from Jalandhar Cantt and close aide of Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, Pargat Singh slammed the chief minister. He said that if somebody has to apologize, it is Captain Amarinder Singh as he failed to fulfill the promises made to the people.

Earlier on Monday, Punjab Cabinet Minister Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa advised CM Captain Amarinder Singh to let go of Navjot Singh Sidhu's earlier tweets.

Even Ghanaur MLA Madan Lal Jalalpur also advised Punjab CM to "forgive Sidhu as the Maharaja has a big heart." Jalapur said that it was time to work together.
Amid Punjab Congress Crisis, the Chief Minister had said that he would not meet Sidhu till he tenders a public apology.
Singh had told Harish Rawat, the AICC general secretary in-charge of Punjab, that he would not meet Sidhu till he tenders a public apology for his derogatory remarks against him.
