Petrol and diesel prices in India today after the latest fuel price hike: Fuel prices have been hiked on Tuesday as the state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) revised the rates following an increase in global crude oil rates.
The recent hike comes a day after prices were left unchanged.

After petrol and diesel prices in India were hiked today, the petrol rates across the country have increased by 23 paise while diesel rates have gone up by 25 paise.

In Dehli, the petrol’s price has reached Rs 93.44 per litre while diesel costs at Rs 84.32 per litre. The petrol rates in Mumbai is just 30 paise short of reached Rs 100 per litre mark and diesel price is creeping towards Rs 92 per litre.

It is pertinent to mention that there are hardly any districts left where petrol price is below Rs 90 per litre. It is an indication of the high fuel prices in India.
Meanwhile, there have been several districts where petrol rates remain above Rs 100 per litre.
Diesel has also seen a sharp rise after the latest round of fuel price hike. In several districts, the diesel is being sold over Rs 85 per litre and even crossed Rs 90 in some cities like Mumbai.
