Tamil actor Vijay takes political plunge, floats Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam party

This move comes days after he was appointed as the party chief by the Tamizha Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) leaders.
Vijay's entry into politics has been a long-anticipated move, and with the launch of "Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam," he solidifies his commitment to public service. The party's name itself reflects a determination for victory in Tamil Nadu's political landscape.
Addressing the media, Vijay clarified that his party would not participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Vijay emphasised that this step is a gesture of gratitude towards the people of Tamil Nadu.
