25-year-old gym owner shot dead in Haryana's Hansi, attackers fired 10 rounds

PTC News Desk: A 25-year-old gym owner, Deepak, was shot dead by two motorcycle-borne attackers while training students early Thursday morning in Hansi.


The incident occurred around 5:30 am when Deepak was conducting a fitness session outside his gym. A CCTV camera recorded the attack.

The footage shows Deepak leading a group of five to six trainees, including a woman, as they performed step-up exercises on a staircase. During the workout, two men arrived on a motorcycle. One of the attackers, who was wearing a white cap, got off the bike and opened fire on Deepak, causing panic among those present.

The assailants reportedly fired at least 10 rounds before fleeing the scene.

Deepak was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police officials said efforts are underway to identify and arrest the attackers. The killing has shocked local residents, who have expressed grief and demanded swift action against those responsible.

After receiving information about the incident, police teams rushed to the spot and sealed off the area. Officers from the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) and forensic experts also arrived to collect evidence and examine the crime scene.

The motive behind the murder remains unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
