AAP MLA Pathanmajra releases another video, alleges govt harassing children and ailing wife
The sexual-assault accused MLA, who has been absconding, released a six-minute long video alleging that social activists, fellow MLAs, and farmer unions have failed to support him.
PTC News Desk: Days after Sanaur MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra went into hiding after a dramatic chase,a new video has surfaced with AAP leader accusing lack of support from party MLAs.
The sexual-assault accused MLA, who has been absconding, released a six-minute long video alleging that social activists, fellow MLAs, and farmer unions have failed to support him.
Pathanmajra's video is making rounds on social media despite suspension of all of his social media accounts.
In the video, Pathanmajra has appealed the people of Punjab to stand by him. He said, his wife and children are constantly being harassed.
"My family and children are being harassed. My wife has already undergone multiple surgeries and currently she has been kept under house arrest," he said in the video.
Pathanmajra warned that if anything happens to his wife, who has undergone five surgeries and suffers from a medical condition, the Punjab Government will be held responsible and he will drag them to the high court.
However PTC News has not independently verified the video.
In his video Sanaur MLA claimed that he is facing the repercussions for openly criticising the Delhi leaders and their interference in Punjab affairs and for holding Krishan Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Water Resources Department, accountable for the floods in Punjab.
Earlier, Pathanmajra had released a 25-second audio message checking on the well-being of Sanaur residents, urging supporters not to lose hope and assuring them of his return. “Those who take a stand are honoured in life… Baba Budha Keru Kirpa,” he said, adding that those appointed in his place would be “pushed away.”
Pathanmajra has been absconding since early September after being named as accused in a sexual assault case.
