Adequate supply: Chandigarh administration clarifies on rumours of limitation on supply of petrol, diesel

PTC News Desk: The Chandigarh administration has issued a clarification over fake news spreading alleging 'temporary fuel rationing at petrol pumps in Chandigarh including purported limits of Rs 500 for two-wheelers and Rs 1500 for four-wheelers due to localised supply constraints.

He further clarified that there is adequate availability of petrol and diesel across Chandigarh.
Moreover, there is sufficient availability of petrol and diesel across Chandigarh. The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have assured that adequate fuel stocks are in place and supply operations are continuing smoothly without any disruption. Citizens have been urged not to panic or resort to unnecessary bulk buying of fuel. All retail fuel outlets in the city are well stocked, and regular replenishment is being maintained by the OMCs.
The Chandigarh Administration said it is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with the concerned OMCs to ensure uninterrupted availability of petroleum products throughout the city.
