Amritsar house firing: Attackers fire multiple rounds, incident captured in CCTV

According to reports, around 9 to 10 rounds were fired. Bullet marks were found on the gate outside the house, and family members also recovered empty bullet shells from the spot.

Amritsar house firing:  Another incident of firing has been reported in Sialka village of Majitha constituency in Amritsar district, where unidentified individuals opened multiple rounds of fire at a house. The incident was captured in the CCTV. 


The video was shared by senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia on his social media. 



According to reports, around 9 to 10 rounds were fired. Bullet marks were found on the gate outside the house, and family members also recovered empty bullet shells from the spot. 

The incident has also raised questions about law and order. Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia appealed to the Punjab DGP and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to take immediate steps to improve the deteriorating law and order situation, saying that people are being forced to live in fear.


After receiving information, SHO Avtar Singh from Majitha police station reached the spot with a team, assessed the situation, and took the CCTV footage into custody. Police said the accused will be identified and arrested soon.
