PTC Web Desk: In a tragic incident, kabaddi player Bittu Balial passed away after suffering a heart attack during a match at a tournament held in Rupal Heri village, Fatehgarh Sahib. The incident occurred in the middle of the game.

According to eyewitnesses, Bittu collapsed on the ground while attempting a raid. Fellow players and event organisers rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Reports suggest that he suffered a massive cardiac arrest on the field.

Bittu Balial had earlier undergone heart surgery, during which three stents were implanted. Despite battling health issues in recent months, he had recently made a comeback to the kabaddi arena after showing signs of recovery.

Family sources revealed that Bittu had faced multiple personal losses, including the death of his parents and elder brother, which had taken a toll on his mental and physical health.

Originally hailing from Balial village in Bhawanigarh, Sangrur district, Bittu was known for his skill and sportsmanship. He had represented his team in several state-level kabaddi tournaments and earned respect among peers and fans alike.
