Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann takes sharp dig at Raghav Chadha, says AAP MP compromised
CM Mann's remarks come after Raghav Chadha posted a video message earlier in the day and questioned party's move to remove him from deputy leader's position.
PTC News Desk: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday alleged that party’s Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament is 'compromised.'
“If he does not walk out on important issues where the party has taken a clear stand, is unwilling to speak against the deletion of votes in West Bengal, or raise his voice against the Gujarat government for arresting party workers, then action will have to be taken. He has gone against the party whip,” said the Chief Minister.
CM Mann's remarks come after Raghav Chadha posted a video message earlier in the day and questioned party's move to remove him from deputy leader's position.
Punjab CM also asserted that it is a common practice for the parties to replace leaders in the Parliament. “Between 2014 and 2019, Dr Dharamvir Gandhi was the party’s leader in the House, and later I took over that role,” he said.
CM Mann's sharp attack comes shortly after Raghav Chadha posted a video message on X claiming that despite being silenced by his own party but remained undefeated.
