Punjab CM launches 24x7 helpline for stranded Punjabis amid Middle East crisis
Punjab officials in touch with MEA & other central authorities to facilitate secure evacuation of stranded citizens
PTC Web Desk: In response to the escalating conflicts in parts of the Middle East, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced the creation of a dedicated 24x7 helpline to assist Punjabis stranded in the affected regions and support their families back home.
The Chief Minister assured that the Punjab Government is fully committed to aiding its citizens and is coordinating closely with the Government of India to ensure a safe and swift return of those impacted.
“Many Punjabis are currently facing severe hardships due to the outbreak of conflict in certain Gulf countries. To address their concerns immediately, the state government has set up a round-the-clock helpline and control room,” CM Mann stated.

The Chief Minister said Punjab officials are in continuous communication with the Ministry of External Affairs and other central authorities to facilitate the secure evacuation of stranded citizens.
He further urged the Union Government to take immediate action for the safe return of Indian nationals, particularly those from Punjab, caught in conflict zones.
