Punjab Counter Intelligence grills LoP Partap Singh Bajwa over hand grenade remarks, says he didnt cooperate
AIG Counter Intelligence, Ravjot Grewal said that the information disclosed by Partap Bajwa is a sensitive and concerns national security.

PTC News Desk: The Counter Intelligence unit of Punjab on Sunday arrived at leader of opposition Partap Singh Bajwa's residence to over his remarks pertaining to the presence of hand grenades in the state.
AIG Counter Intelligence, Ravjot Grewal said that the information disclosed by Partap Bajwa is a sensitive and concerns national security. She also further asserted that Bajwa did not cooperate in the interrogation.
"Pratap Singh Bajwa, in an interview to media, said that 50 hand grenades have come to Punjab out of which 32 are in circulation. It was a sensitive information that concerned national security. We wanted to get to the source of information, so we questioned him, but he didn't cooperate with us.
Grewal further said that the officials asked him clear and specific questions about the source of this information, however he refused to provide answers.
"We will get to the bottom of this. We asked very clear questions that what are the sources of the information, but he didn't answer," she added.
Meanwhile Partap Singh Bajwa said that whatever information he recived by his sources was already informed to the counter intelligence team, however he will not reveal his sources.
"My source told me that I am in an important position, so I should stay aware...I have fully cooperated and will fully cooperate (with Counter Intelligence). our work is to save people and help the Punjab Govt. I have told the team (Counter Intelligence) that I am not going to reveal my sources...I told her (AIG of Counter Intelligence) whatever I could," he said.
