Punjab: School timings revised from January 22; check new working hours
All government and private schools in Punjab will follow the updated schedule from tomorrow
PTC Web Desk: The Punjab Government has announced revised school timings across the state in view of prevailing winter conditions. The decision was issued by the Department of School Education and will come into effect from January 22.
According to the official order, all government and private schools in Punjab will follow the updated schedule to ensure the safety and well-being of students during the winter season.
As per the revised timings, primary schools will operate from 9 am to 3 pm, while middle, high and senior secondary schools will function from 9 am to 3.20 pm.
Education department officials said schools have been directed to strictly comply with the new timings.
The revised schedule will remain in force until further orders.
