Punjab State Warehousing Corporation DM dies by suicide by consuming poison, blames minister Laljit Singh Bhullar in viral video
Following the incident, Punjab Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar tendered his resignation.
PTC News Desk: Amritsar District Manager of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation allegedly committed suicide after consuming poison. According to reports, he held a minister in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government responsible for his extreme step.
Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, left a video before consuming poisonous substance in which he accused Punjab Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar of mentally harassing him.
Following the incident, the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Patti in Tarn Taran was asked to resign in connection with the alleged suicide of Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, District Manager of the Punjab Warehousing Corporation in Amritsar.
Randhawa had reportedly been serving in Amritsar and Tarn Taran. After the incident, he was admitted to a private hospital in a critical condition and later passed away during treatment.
Meanwhile Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that the tragic case of district manager's suicide has come to the light and the matter remains under investigation. he further said that minister's resignation has been taken to ensure transparency in the probe. He added that any negligence that forces someone to take their own life will not be tolerated, and the full truth will emerge only after the inquiry is concluded.
