Several students injured after school bus rams into PRTC bus in Punjab's Ludhiana

Ludhiana, May 15: Several students were injured after a private school bus rammed into Punjab Roadways (PRTC) bus in Punjab's Ludhiana on Monday.

According to the information received, the accident took place between school bus of Sacred Heart School and PRTC bus at Kothe Baggu in Jagraon, Ludhiana. 

Following the accident, injured students were rushed to a nearby government hospital. Some children have also been admitted to a private hospital in Jagraon and are undergoing treatment there. 

Police have started an investigation into the matter.

Meanwhile, parents of students rushed to the hospital where children are being treated. Jagraon’s AAP MLA Sarvjit Kaur Manuke also reached the hospital to review the situation.

Police have taken the buses into custody and an investigation is underway.
