Tragic: Eight-year-old boy dies of heart attack while playing in Punjabs Ferozepur

Manmeet Sharma, 8, was second class student of RSD Raj Ratan Public School reportedly felt uneasy and severe discomfort while he was flying kite on the roof of his house.

PTC News Desk: In a tragic turn of events, an eight-year-old boy died after suffering heart attack while playing in Punjab's Ferozepur district. 


Manmeet Sharma, 8, was second class student of RSD Raj Ratan Public School reportedly felt uneasy and severe discomfort while he was flying kite on the roof of his house. 


The family immediately rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead. Doctors have said that the cause of death was a sudden heart attack.


Sharing details about the tragic incident, RSD Raj Ratan Public School director Professor S.P. Anand expressed deep sorrow over Manmeet's sudden death. He said that Manmeet was a very bright student and his tragic death has plunged the entire school in a state of mourning. 


Notably several cases of child deaths due to heart attack have been reported recently, triggering an alarming concern among health experts.
