Indian climber Baljeet Kaur found alive from Nepal's Mt Annapurna
While conducting an aerial search team located her above Camp IV and she was observed descending alone towards the camp.
PTC News Desk: On Tuesday, Baljeet Kaur, the 27-year-old Indian climber who had scaled Mt Annapurna without supplemental oxygen on Monday, was found alive. She had gone missing near Camp IV while descending from the summit point.
While conducting an aerial search team located her above Camp IV and she was observed descending alone towards the camp.
The expedition organiser, Pioneer Adventure, was quoted as saying that they were preparing to conduct a long-line rescue to airlift her from above the high camp. Before the search team found her, Baljeet Kaur had managed to send a radio signal asking for 'immediate help'. Her GPS location indicated an altitude of 7,375m (24,193ft).

The leading Indian woman climber had climbed Mt Annapurna along with two Sherpa guides at around 5:15 pm on Monday.
In May last year, she had become the first Indian climber to have scaled four 8000-meter peaks in a single season.
Anurag Malu, a resident of Kishangarh in Rajasthan, was another climber who had gone missing while descending from Camp III of Mt Annapurna. It was later found that Malu had died after falling from 6,000m into a crevasse while descending from Camp IV.
Noel Hanna, the first person from Ireland to reach the summit of K2 during the winter season, also passed away in Camp IV last night. Efforts are being made to bring their bodies back to base camp.
Mt Annapurna, the tenth-highest mountain in the world, stands at 8,091 metres above sea level. It is notorious for its difficulty and danger.
