In a major development, two minor girls, reportedly, from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir crossed over to Indian territory and detained by the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the information, the incident took place on Sunday.
Reportedly, both the minor girls have been identified as Laiba Zabair (17) and Sana Zabair (13).

Both of them are the residents of Abbasspur village in the forward Kahuta area in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

According to the sources, the Indian troops detected the crossing along the LoC where the efforts were made for their early repatriation.
The Defence PRO, Jammu, was quoted by ANI as saying that "Two girls from PoK had inadvertently crossed into Indian territory in Poonch sector, Jammu and Kashmir today morning."
"Our troops detected them crossing and exercised complete restraint to prevent any harm to the teenagers. Efforts are being made for their repatriation," it added.
