In a shocking incident, three farmers died while several got injured after son of Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Ajay Mishra allegedly ran car over farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Meanwhile, violence broke out in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, where farmers were holding a protest after some of them were allegedly run over by a convoy of ministers. Image Visuals showed vehicles set on fire and several people, apparently injured, lying on the ground. Police rushed to the to restore law and order. "In Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, 2 farmers died and 8 farmers were injured after the vehicles of the ministers' convoy crushed the farmers standing on the side of the road, protesting against the Union Minister of State for Home," tweeted the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha. -PTC News
