In a shocking incident, three farmers died while several got injured after son of Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Ajay Mishra allegedly ran car over farmers at Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Ajay Mishra, has been accused of running over protesting farmers with his car.

Image It has been reported that farmers were protesting against the Centre's three farm laws ahead of an event in Tikunia where UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya was to be the chief guest. Meanwhile, violence broke out in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, where farmers were holding a protest after some of them were allegedly run over by a convoy of ministers. Image Visuals showed vehicles set on fire and several people, apparently injured, lying on the ground. Police rushed to the to restore law and order. "In Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, 2 farmers died and 8 farmers were injured after the vehicles of the ministers' convoy crushed the farmers standing on the side of the road, protesting against the Union Minister of State for Home," tweeted the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha. -PTC News-
