Amritsar to Patna Sahib train on 350th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh : To celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh the Punjab government today sent a train to Amritsar for Patna Sahib free of cost. This train was flagged off from Amritsar railway station with a green signal by Navjot Singh Sidhu. A total of 1470 pilgrims from Majha area left for Patna Sahib via this train. On this occasion, Navjot Singh Sidhu said that the Punjab government has always kept religion above politics and would continue to do so.  Talking to media persons, Sidhu said that in respect to the religious sentiments of the devotees, today the government has flagged off three trains from various stations ahead of the 350th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. We want to make sure that the pilgrims visit the holy earth of Patna Sahib free of cost. Image result for 350th birth anniversary of guru gobind singh ji On this occasion, the congregation expressed great pleasure on receiving the privilege of celebrating Guru Sahib's birth anniversary on the birth anniversary of his birth place. The 350th Prakash Parv will be celebrated on January 5 next year at Patna (Bihar), the birthplace of the 10th Sikh Guru. Several programmes and functions have been planned by the Takht Sri Patna Sahib Management Board in the run-up to the celebrations to be held at Gurdwara Sri Harmandir Sahib, Patna. -PTC News
